Last night a some of us went to dinner and then out to the bar for a drink. Punk Bar is a misnomer as the inside has pink chandeliers and renaissance style art.
We noticed that the music was mostly from the 70's, 80's and early 90's. A couple from Germany told us they thought it was because in Germany, and perhaps here, clubs are charged royalties for the music they play and older music costs less than the popular music of the day. Who knows if that is the case, but if it is, isn't that nuts?! My guess is it was flashback night and we just didn't know :)
